The heart of this practice is based on each student’s unique abilities and talents, and our highly individualized services reflect that. Customized college roadmaps provide students with the tools to navigate their own journey. When coupled with care, support, trust, and a little bit of mother’s love, Magnolia helps students discover their true selves, and determine their destiny. .
I hope you will explore the list of services I offer and know that it is almost impossible to articulate all that I do; my work with your family is based on the needs of your child and family. While I can define the broad strokes, your child will ultimately determine how our journey unfolds.

Building a roadmap to success starts by understanding your child, and meeting you exactly where you are. Whether it’s elementary school, or senior year, a big university, or a small school, your map will be curated to perfectly a reflect your student’s unique journey. Together, we MAP out your curated admissions process to reflect your child, and family’s needs on an academic, financial, social, and personal level.

This is the most popular time for families to seek my partnership. We can make many fun and exciting discoveries together as your child embarks on their educational journey. Emphasis is placed on helping guide your child to areas of academic and extracurricular impact that is aligned with their developing interests. We explore class schedules that support their strengths, sample activities that allow for a fun way to see what they find exciting, and research enrichment experiences that elevate their impact at school and in their community. We gently start to explore your child’s future in a way that is non-threatening and fun!

A great time to begin and another popular option for families! We dive right in and develop an understanding of what your child values inside and outside of the classroom. We start to tackle testing analysis, testing timelines and preparation strategies, explore colleges based on your child’s interests, and tackle any challenges that might have gone unnoticed in middle school or capitalize on any new or developing strengths. We talk about ways to be leaders in our school and communities in ways that are meaningful and fun, then we build an action plan and start to work towards their dreams for their future - however this looks to the child and their family!

For families who chose to get started in 11th grade, we hit the ground running! We explore test preparation pathways that are well matched with your child’s interests and abilities, build a college list, start the common application process including early essay writing and explore ways to marry interests and impact before college application season approaches.
